The Bible Sources
Where does the term Bible originate?
The word Bible itself is simply a transliteration of the Greek word bíblos (βίβλος), meaning "book." So the Bible is, quite simply, The Book. However, take a step further back and the same Greek word also means "scroll" or "parchment."
The Scriptures were first written on parchment, and then copied to scrolls, then those scrolls would be copied and distributed and so on. We believe that the scriptures are the inspired word of God, "God-breathed" and given to prophets and holy men over the ages
2 Timothy 3:16 16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God[a] may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
What are the contents of the Bible?
The Bible contains the Old Testament where the first five books is the Torah, and the rest of the chapters are from Condex Septuagint which was translated to Jewish Tanakh and the first Bible translated version is Codex Vaticanus and the New Testament which are the books written by eye witness accounts and desciples of Jesus. There is generally acceptable consistency that goes into approval and inclusion of canons in the Bible.
Who were the authors of the Bible?
We as Christians believe in the spirit of God to have worked through saints through the ages as mentioned in the scriptures, the earliest known version is the Gospel of John was written by eyewitness accounts in 60-110AD. Over the years many translations became available in various languages. Additionally the church had kept records, and there were changes over time, these were according to the different manuscripts discovered over time written by disciples and apostles, and some from distant eastern churches. Whenever there were changes and supporting evidence they were approved and new releases with different editions of the Bible have been made available. The most original version in exisitance today with least changes in English is the King James Edition of the Bible.

2 Peter 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
2 Peter 1:16 For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.
What is the significance of the Bible in the Qu'ran?
The Quran was written 650AD after Prophet Muhammed death by 632AD when the Caliph commissioned it. It is believed to be the "uncreated" word of God, this distinction means that the Quran was written by Allah. Christians beleive the "uncreated" word of God is Jesus.
What is the significance of the Bible in the Qu'ran:
Surah (5:46) Jesus confirms the Torah and Bible and is the light and guidance and correction and confirms the truth.
And We sent Jesus, the son of Mary, after those Prophets, confirming the truth of whatever there still remained of the Torah. And We gave him the Gospel, wherein is guidance and light, and which confirms the truth of whatever there still remained of the Torah,76 and a guidance and admonition for the God-fearing. (5:47) Let the followers of the Gospel judge by what Allah has revealed therein, and those who do not judge by what Allah has revealed are the transgressors.77
Surah (10:94) Were you not advised you to wait for teachers of the Bible so as to know the truth?
Surah 10:94 If you ˹O Prophet˺ are in doubt about ˹these stories˺ that We have revealed to you, then ask those who read the Scripture before you. The truth has certainly come to you from your Lord, so do not be one of those who doubt,
Let's read Surah (35:31) and it reads: "What was revealed to you in the Bible that's the truth."
Surah (35:31) The Book We have revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ is the truth, confirming what came before it.1 Surely Allah is All-Aware, All-Seeing of His servants.
Sarah (5:68) We stand on solid ground the Torah & the Bible
Say to them: ‘People of the Book! You have no solid ground to stand on unless you establish the Torah and the Gospel and all that had been revealed to you from your Lord. Indeed the message revealed to you from your Lord will aggravate insurgence and unbelief in many of them. So do not grieve for those who disbelieve.
Surah (29:46) No one may dispute with the Christian teachings and scriptures
(29:46) Argue not80 with the People of the Book except in the fairest manner,81 unless it be those of them that are utterly unjust.82 Say to them: “We believe in what was revealed to us and what was revealed to you. One is our God and your God; and we are those who submit83 ourselves to Him.”
How does the Qu'ran related to the Bible?
One of the earliest scribes was a Christian who narrated the Bible, and have written the Quran, however he later returned back to Christianity, thereby a clear trail of plagarism is established.
Sahih al-Bukhari 3617
There was a Christian who embraced Islam and read Surat-al-Baqara and Al-`Imran, and he used to write for the Prophet. Later on he returned to Christianity again and he used to say: "Muhammad knows nothing but what I have written for him."
The 10 commandments revaled to Moses is the fundamental laws from God were not clearly revealed but some have been included in different chapters, surahs, the significance of the 10 commandments were eternal, and not to be confused with tribal laws of ancients.
Surah 7:145 We wrote for him on the Tablets ˹the fundamentals˺ of everything; commandments and explanations of all things. ˹We commanded,˺ “Hold to this firmly and ask your people to take the best of it.1 I will soon show ˹all of˺ you the home of the rebellious. Certain commands were not formal commandments in the Quran. (Sabbath day, Coveting neighbors goods, Coveting wife of another)
The fowlling chapter reveals hiding the laws of Moses
Surah 6:91
And they1 have not shown Allah His proper reverence when they said, “Allah has revealed nothing to any human being.” Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “Who then revealed the Book brought forth by Moses as a light and guidance for people, which you split into separate sheets—revealing some and hiding much? You have been taught ˹through this Quran˺ what neither you nor your forefathers knew.”

A wealthy merchant and fierce opponent of the early Islamic movement in Mecca, Nadr would sit near the Prophet Muhammad. After Muhammad recited the Quran, Nadr would share stories of Persian and Roman kings (such as Rustam and Isfandiyar) and dismiss Muhammad's message as mere "ancient tales" (or asātīr al-awwalīn).This confrontation is believed to be the context for multiple verses in the Quran (such as Quran 25:5 and Quran 8:31) where the disbelievers accuse Muhammad of copying stories from the past. Nadr was eventually captured fighting against the Muslims and executed after the Battle of Badr.
In particular, he accused Muhammad of retailing tales of the ancients (asatir al-awwalin [q.v. in Suppl.]), and two Kur'anic verses containing precisely this expression (VIII, 31; LXXXIII, 13) are stated to have been specifically connected with him. The Kur'an is likewise said to have alluded to this personage, amongst other enemies of the Prophet in various passages, notably VI, 8-9, XLV, 6-7/7-8.
Quran 25:4
The disbelievers say, “This ˹Quran˺ is nothing but a fabrication which he1 made up with the help of others.” Their claim is totally unjustified and untrue!
Quran 25:5
And they say, “˹These revelations are only˺ ancient fables which he has had written down, and they are rehearsed to him morning and evening.”1
Quran 6:25
The disbelievers would ˹even˺ come to argue with you, saying, “This ˹Quran˺ is nothing but ancient fables!”
Quran 8:31
Whenever Our revelations are recited to them, they challenge ˹you˺, “We have already heard ˹the recitation˺. If we wanted, we could have easily produced something similar. This ˹Quran˺ is nothing but ancient fables!”
