What is the significance of the crucification of Jesus?

The Mission at Calvary Adam disobeyed God, so he was removed from his presence.  It is the disobedience of man that separates him from God.  It is written that you are the temple of the Holy Spirit, that God dwells in you. Jesus performed healing and the great many miracles through the Holy Spirit.  Jesus promised all the believers the gift of the Holy Spirit.  Jesus redeemed us by taking up the burden of the sin of all mankind upon his shoulders.  God cannot look upon sin (Habakkuk 1:13), so God could not look upon his son who took upon himself the sins of man.
