Was Jesus cursed by God?

Jesus The Passover Lamb

This question of whether Jesus was accursed stems from the old testament which states that all who are hung are accursed by God.   As per the old laws and traditions they should not leave a body to rot on the tree as it becomes a curse for the very land and against Jewish customs.

Deuteronomy 21:23 His body shall not remain all night upon the tree, but thou shalt in any wise bury him that day; (for he that is hanged is accursed of God;) that thy land be not defiled, which the Lord thy God giveth thee for an inheritance.

In the Roman era, the crucification was one of the most notorious punishments.  The doctrine of double jeopardy was known to the Greeks and Romans, and it was eventually acknowledged in Justinian's Digest as the rule that the governor should not allow the same person to be charged for a crime for which he had previously been tried and convicted.   In the case of Jesus, Jesus was sinless since birth, the same is witnessed across different religions.  He was pure and without fault, the sacrificial lamb without a spot or blemish.  He was the ransom that God promised Abraham.  Jesus was punished for the crime of calling himself the “Son of God”, he accepted this charge in the face of death.

Mark 14:61 Again the high priest asked him, and said unto him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed? 62And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

A person may be punished only once for a crime,  The Roman governor, Pontius Pilot, tried to release Jesus on account of the Passover event,  however, since that was not accepted he ruled that Jesus be whipped for his crime.

John 19:1 Then Pilate therefore took Jesus, and scourged him.

Again due to the instigation of the Pharisees the mob wanted to crucify Jesus, this was the second punishment for same crime, and no applicable under law.

John 19:6 When the chief priests therefore and officers saw him, they cried out, saying, Crucify him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Take ye him, and crucify him: for I find no fault in him.

It was to appease the religious community that he was sentenced to death, and crucification on the cross as demanded by the high priest and the council of Jews.  This was not a Roman law but the Law of Moses:

John 19:7 The Jews answered him, We have a law, and by our law he ought to die, because he made himself the Son of God.

John 19:16 Then delivered he him therefore unto them to be crucified. And they took Jesus, and led him away.

Thus Jesus was the passover lamb that was sacrificed for the redemption of mankind, we are no longer under the law but abide by the grace and love of Christ.

Galatians 3:10

10 For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, as it is written: “Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law.”[e] 11 Clearly no one who relies on the law is justified before God, because “the righteous will live by faith.”[f] 12 The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, it says, “The person who does these things will live by them.”[g] 13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.”[h] 14 He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.

1 Peter 2:24 He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.

Jesus came as a fulfillment to the promise in the old testament:

Isiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. 7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. 8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.

Is Jesus God, did he receive worship?

Jesus is Lord by his own Testament Mark 14:61 Again the high priest asked him, and said unto him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed? 62 And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven. Jesus was quoting scriptures here from Daniel:7: 13  “In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence.   14  He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all nations and peoples of every language worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed. What is the evidence of Holy Trinity?

The Holy Trinity in the Bible God the Father sent his angel Gabriel to promise Mary God the son through the Holy Spirit Luke 1:35  And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. Was Jesus is sent to the whole world?

Jesus and the Lost sheep of Israel Mathew 15:22  And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil. 23  But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us. 24  But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel . 25  Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me. 26  But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs. 27  And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table. 28  Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt . And her daughter was made whole from that very hour. John 10:16  And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring , and...
