Krishna is cited as Prajapati as per Hindu scriptures, could it be that an avatar could exist elsewhere in the world that fulfills the same criteria to be Prajapati? Can the Vedic description of Prajapati, the "Lord of Creatures," provide a framework for comparing Krishna and Jesus? Rather than beginning with theological conclusions, this study begins with the earliest available textual evidence—the Vedas, Brahmanas, Upanishads, the Bhagavad Gita, the Mahabharata, the Bhagavata Purana, and the New Testament. The method is intentionally simple and transparent. Each row of the comparison begins with a criterion explicitly found in the Vedic scriptures. The Hindu scriptures are then examined to determine whether Krishna is explicitly described as fulfilling that criterion.
