Why Jesus did not know the hour?
Matthew 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
How is God different from Man? His is timeless, He is a fourth dimensional being or higher, He does not have a beginning nor an end, He is the Alpha and Omega. When you say God is omniscient and omnipresent, we say that God is everywhere, all the time, in past, present and future. Time is the forth dimension beyond the third we live in. So when He emptied his divinity to enter our realm, He gave up part of himself, the Omniscience. He operates by the power of the Holy Spirit who is omnipotent and begins his ministry work only after receiving the holy spirit. He does not know many things as his human form cannot comprehend, so he is in constant intercession with the Father God in everything so he is operating as a part of a whole. He always called upon the Father God to work with him in every miracle, through the working of the Holy spirit. Jesus had power to perform miracles but his Ministry starts only after receiving the holy spirit, he instructs his disciples to wait till they receive the holy spirit, the comforter before going out on their ministry work. We believe that in this instant that Jesus is not at liberty to reveal but only the Father may reveal certain things privately to those who ask him. Jesus said to pray to God as our Father.
Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you 8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Romans 5:19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
